FAQs

We are “Vinh Gurus.” We love our hometown, Vinh City, in Nghe An Province. We offer the most unique and customized tours in Vinh, combining our expertise with our admiration for the incredible beauty of our home. Our goal is to make you love our city and province as much as we do!  Nghe An is an agricultural province. It has its own authentic characteristics, nothing at all like Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An or Nha Trang. Nghe An has its own unique history, culture and special features to offer. In our tours, we will show you how the people live, eat and work in everyday life. The tours we provide are not luxury tours, but simple and ordinary.

No. We currently only offer tours in Vinh City and Nghe An area. We want to share our hometown with you so you can discover Nghe An’s hidden, charming beauty.

Absolutely. Both tours include street food – it is a large part of the culture of Nghe An that can not be overlooked when you come to Vinh City. Our tour guide will introduce you to some famous food venues that are chosen carefully. We work with specific vendors to ensure safe and delicious cultural foods, for your pleasure. We understand any concerns you may have about eating street food, however, rest assured, the street food is very safe. Many foreigners eat street food with no health issues.

If given prior notice, we can adjust the dishes on our tours to accomodate your restrictions.

Please let us know your food allergies/restrictions at the time you book our tour, so we  have ample time to prepare alternative options.

For all our tours, we provide high quality cars and late model motorbikes. Our travel insurance covers you if you are a rider as a pillion passenger.

No. All guests ride a pillion behind the tour guide as a passenger. It is illigal for foreigners to drive in Vietnam without a Vietnamese driver’s lisence. Moreover, our travel insurance doesn’t cover you in case you get into an accident if you don’t have your own Vietnamese driver’s lisence.

No, because of the transportation law (as mentioned earlier) and your safety, we can not permit you to drive our vehicles.

Our offers on the website are for at least 2 persons/tour. However, we always welcome solo travelers to take part in every tour with extra charge.

The deposit for each tour is as the following:

3 days before the tour, we require a 50% deposit in order to reserve a booking  and 50% of remaining charge is paid before departuring.

We currently accept 2 modes of payment. You can pay/put down a deposit via cash, bank transfer.

Currently, we use the conversion rate of $1 = 25.000 VND, which is lower than the official rate, so you can pay in both. Here are the current prices (per pax) in US Dollar and VND currency.

Also, we have special offer for group of more than 4 pax depending on the number of persons.

If you provide us with at least 5 days notice, there is no penalty for cancelling your tour.  In case of cancelling the tour within 5 days before departuring, it will be charged 100% of deposit payment for cancellation fee.

No shows on the day of the tour due to flight delay, flight cancellations, or late arrival from other tours (with evidences) will also incur a 70% late cancellation fee.

If we cancel the tour because of the bad weather, and you have already paid for the tour in full or placed a deposit, we will refund you your payment in full.
