I arrived spontaneously in Vinh looking for an option to go to Pu Mat national park. The employee off Vinh Guru tours was super kind and willing to help me with organizing the trip. She has a wide web of contacts to arrange a safe travel and is open to discuss the best options for travellers with various budgets. Would certainly recommend this business to anyone looking for an activity around vinh, but might be good to contact the company in advance to assure a nice trip

It was amazing, I was able to explore Vinh City and experience Vietnamese culture and cuisine. The guides taught me the names of the foods as well as how to prepare them. I will be going again soon and this time with friends!

Me and my brother visited a Foody tour which turned out to be a nice and tasty surprise for us. We discovered new places where we can taste delicious food and learned more about traditions of the locals. Must try for those looking for an exciting way to spend a day off🙂

Vinh Guru Tours (Mrs Nha) was very helpfull for me to get information about "what to do in and around Vinh". They give very clear information and did all this for free for me (I go myself by motorbike) Very helpful and well speaking english! I strictly recommend

For those who live in the city for a long time, you can come and experience it!! Magnificent scenery, characteristic tea gardens, river cruises, hiking or jungle adventures, local culture, traditional cuisine, etc., are many different from urban life, and it is a good place for relaxation. If travel time permits, you can consider boarding for one night, stay away from urban 3C products, listen to the sounds of nature and immerse yourself in this relaxing environment

Can't recommend this company and guide Andy highly enough. They provided me excellent service during Tet holiday (2021) when one might expect them to be closed like everyone else. Supportive and professional in every imaginable way

We had a great experience at Pu Mat National Park with Vinh Guru. Could not reccomend this enough for people looking for adventure off the beaten path in central Vietnam. The whole team at Vinh guru was exceptionally organised and friendly, and our guide Andy made sure our every need was taken care of.

We had a great time on this trip, Vinh Guru was brilliant and kept regular contact with us throughout our trip. We had to change plans and they were fantastic at accommodating our needs. Nghe An is a beautiful place and Vinh Guru helped us see this.

I have done several different tours with Vinh Guru. I always appreciated how well the tour was run, how organized they were and how they took care of their clients. I was taken care of very well, anything I needed and answered all my questions. They are also very knowledgeable about the area. They are also very creative and organized activities to make it more fun. I would highly recommend to choose a tour with them and when I get back to Vietnam I will certainly be seeing them again. Great experience and excellent service! What to expect in the less-travelled area of Vinh City? Everyone knows the famous places in Vietnam like Halong, Hanoi, Saigon, Hoi An, Mai Chau etc. But this time I visited also Vinh City. What a great surprise it was! Not many tourist go here (yet), but the area really is worth a visit. I found Vinh Guru Tours based on recommandation on Tripadvisor. They even had a certificate of excellence so my expectations where high. And indeed they deserve this certificate very much. They speak English very well (an exception in this area), they are very helpfull and pay attention to details. So if you travel to Vinh or the province of Nghe An, do contact Vinh Guru and you will not be disappointed. I have booked the 2 days trip to Pu Mat National park and it included much more then expected. Guide Andy was very helpful and understanding and the stay at the homestay was very good. They even prepared vegetarian food and this was perfect (and too much ;-). The climb in the park was though but Andy tries to push you iin a gentle (and safe) way. Besides the streetfood tour was a great pleasure. In this way you really experience the unspoilt Vietnam and Vinh Guru really is the Guru to help you arranging it. Keep up the good work!

Vinh Guru tours was really responsive and flexible to support us to tour Pu Mat for 2 days with short notice. Andy was a fantastic guide and made the experience really enjoyable. He had everything we needed to get to some amazing places. We couldn't have seen them without his support. The food was excellent.

Vinh may seem very overwhelming when you arrive, but Vinh Guru Tours is a refuge amongst that chaos. The staff are really friendly and speak great English. Although the tours into Pu Mat were a little out of our budget unfortunately, the staff were able to help us book a train onward to Ninh Binh which we didn’t even know was an option! If you are worried about onward travel/need to book a tour in Vinh, use Vinh Guru Tours! A side note: they are attached to the ‘serviced apartments’ at the Google maps location, their office is on the bottom floor. When you arrive they may seem closed but go to the left gate, shout hello, and you will be warmly welcomed!
