Cherry Blossoms Bloom in Nghe An

These days, cherry blossoms are in full bloom in the border commune of Muong Tip, Ky Son district. Delicate pink clusters brighten up the cold winter days in the western villages of Nghe An province.

Unlike the peach blossoms in the lowlands, Muong Tip’s cherry blossoms have a lighter pink hue, thinner petals, and typically bloom around Lunar New Year.

The ancient cherry trees surrounding Muong Tip 1 Primary School have become a major attraction, drawing numerous visitors for sightseeing and photography.
